Overview

There are two Grammar schools in the Bromley Council area and both schools are described as “super selective.” Both schools are oversubscribed each year and both set 11+ selection tests.

Parents who wish for their child to attend either school must complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and return it within the stated time span. You should contact the school directly for full details

Test content.

The test format varies from school to school. Newstead Wood School uses test papers covering Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning while St Olave’s Grammar School requires pupils to sit tests in English and Mathematics designed to assess the candidates’ suitability for an academic education.
