The Northern Ireland Transfer Test is held in the first term of a child's primary year 7 and there is only a very short period between starting year 7 in September and actually doing the tests.

The two examination bodies are The Association of Quality Education (AQE) and The Post Primary Transfer Consortium (PPTC or GL).

Our new site provides everything any parent needs to prepare their child for either

  • The Association of Quality Education (also known as the AQE Transfer Test)
    or

  • The Post Primary Transfer Consortium (also known as the PPTC or GL Transfer Test).

The 11+ Exam is held at different times across England but it is often held in the first term of a child's primary year 6.

There are two main examining boards - GL 11+ Exams and CEM 11+ Exams. The content of both exams is similar but the presentation may differ.

Both boards write questions across 4 subjects:-

  • Verbal Reasoning

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

  • English

  • Mathematics

Our new site provides everything any parent needs to prepare their child for either

  • The GL 11+ Exams
    or

  • CEM 11+ Exams.
